THROWBACK: ALLways Safe Promotional Video Clip

Throwing back to last few months before the campaign start, publicity team was shooting a promotional video clip to promote the home safety, social safety and campus safety. Home, social and campus safety issues was being focus as these three areas are significant and happen usually especially on the student.

According to the survey that ALLways Safe Campaign committee had carried out among total 299 respondents:

Home Safety
- out of 299 respondents, 255 respondents think that home invasion was the crime case that often occur within their housing areas.

Social Safety
- out of 299 respondents, there are 188 respondents think that snatch thief was the common crime that happen around or outside the campus environment.

Campus Safety
- out of 299 respondents, 268 of them usually hang out with friends at restaurant.

Hence, the content of promotional video clip basically has three main scenes: home, social and campus. All three scenes were designed based on the highest rate of crime from survey result: home invasion, snatch thief and restaurant crime. 


Home Scene 

This scene talk about a boy went out to throw rubbish for a short period of time, but he didn't lock the door when he went out. The thief took the chance and went in to house. When the boy came back, he never realized that there was a thief inside his house and his life was at risk just because of his carelessness.






Social Scene

A girl went out gathering with friends and she was less aware of what happening of surrounding to her. When she was happy taking photo with friend, she never realized that her male friend was place some drug inside her drink quietly. The girl had take the drink and being raped after that, and her regret would never be erased.






Campus Scene

A girl was playing around with her friend while waiting for the bus. Suddenly, a motor has cames near to her and grabbed up her bag, the girl had never aware at all of her surroundings. She fell down and injured after that.





The purpose of shooting this video was to create an awareness of personal safety among TARUC students while showing video during publicity activities, and to make them alert that don't be the next victim like the victim inside the video.
