ALLways Safe Campaign - SAFE house

the SAFE house is a fun-filled personal safety fair featured with interesting activities including mini games, exhibition showcase, product selling booths and self-defense workshop. It is a three days event with canopies built at the Canteen 1 Concourse area as to create a well-balanced atmosphere, and provide an extraordinary experience for audiences to attend a college event. The main purpose of the SAFE house is to ensure that audiences can be able to receive and learn of the important information and knowledge regards to personal safety issue in a joyful and memorable way.

There are a lot of exciting activities going on in the SAFE house. It is undeniable that the coolest game in the SAFE house was the Oculus Rift! It is a virtual reality headset that enables 3D movies as well as a 360 degree viewing experience. Audiences who are interested in experiencing social safety scenario will be wearing the Oculus Rift that offers them an amazing experience to be in the situation. The scenario was taken at a nightlife district of Kuala Lumpur, it is to let them witness about the bad things and incidents happen during nightlife, specifically to show them the unimaginable dangers can be happened when they are socializing.



Another mini game “Are you the next one?” that allows audiences to answer questions regarding to personal safety campaign by throwing the ping pong ball to the correct answer that stick on the board, then the crime cases on the board would decrease if they had the correct answers. The purpose of this mini game is to test audience’s general knowledge and gain awareness of personal safety issue.

The crime cases  significantly decreased in these days by gaining a X mark as indicated audiences had the correct tips from personal safety, and they could be able to prevent themselves from being the victim of crime.


Additionally, “Watch your back” booth has presented an unique way of spreading information to the audiences. The booth decorated as a Tarot booth as indicates that the problems from audiences can be solved. The booth is a counter where audiences can seek for their personalized personal safety tips by telling the witch about their biggest safety concern that they are keen to know more about. In regards to the questions that audiences had, he or she had given a sticker with the most applicable safety tips tailored for that situation. The concept was to provide a more detailed guideline for audiences by offering practical tips for them to avoid serious incident from happening.

Besides, an attractive area that gave information and details regarding personal safety issue to the audiences is the exhibition showcase that displayed rich message and facts as it is the precedence all along for letting audiences receive and absorb knowledge of personal safety issue.

There is a personal safety product selling booth. Audiences can be able to buy personal safety product, pepper spray and usage and features will be introduced to them. It is the original trusted brand for personal defense sprays and has made a continued commitment to provide consumers total peace of mind for personal, home, and business protection.

the SAFE house has been offering them the tips and solutions to avoid dangers they may face in their later in life. This event, the main objectives is to ensure that students are aware of a range of safety issues and to encourage them to take necessary steps to safeguard themselves and others. It aiming to educate students on how to stay safe in variety of situations, not only about safety within the College, but within the wider community.
